Curbside Care during the Pandemic
We are adopting a concierge approach at our hospital to prevent the potential community spread of COVID-19 and to protect our team members. We are only allowing patients (pets) inside our hospital until further notice. The safety and well-being of our teams and your pets are our highest priority today, and always. Hospital procedures, curb-side service, medication refills, and more are outlined here.
We have implemented curbside concierge services to assist with patient care out of an abundance of caution for our team and your family. Owners may be asked additional questions to help our medical staff provide the best care. Clients may experience longer wait times due to these more time-consuming protocols and due to the increase in patients we are experiencing. Please know that our medical teams are working as efficiently as possible, while spending the time needed to appropriately treat your pet.
What to Expect
Our check in process has changed due to the COVID pandemic. When you arrive, please remain in your car and call or text to check in with our client care team. They will assist with the initial paperwork.
A technician will call you when the doctor is ready to see your pet. At that time, please bring your pet to the door and return to your vehicle. The doctor will examine your pet, call you to report their findings and you will work together to determine the appropriate care plan.
If your pet is experiencing a life-threatening emergency, please bring them to the door immediately and our team will work together to expedite care. For your safety and the safety of our staff we must ask that you remain in your car even in these difficult situations.
Our ability to stay open and provide lifesaving care depends on our staff remaining healthy and if we experience a COVID outbreak among our staff we may have to close during the quarantine period. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we do our best to provide medical care to your pet.
